Welcome to our page! Afrodance Society will provide a fun and enjoyable platform for you to express yourself through classic and modern African dance. Afrodance involves upbeat polycentric dancing to African music. 

Come and join us during our biweekly dance sessions to learn trending Afrodance moves.

Afrodance Society is open to students from all levels and backgrounds. Beginner and experienced dancers are all welcomed. Each dance sessions will be choreographed, except for our dance socials which will be held each semester to showcase freestyles.  

If you are a lover of Afrobeats music and dance or you are simply interested, why not come along to our dance sessions! You will meet new people, learn classy afrodance and have a lot of fun at the same time. If you are not bothered about those things, then come along to find out what the Afrodances listed at the top are.

How to join:

You can purchase your membership online or before the sessions. Non-members are welcome to our dance sessions too. 


Annual Membership £8

Each session: Members £1.50. Non-members £3

Session Length: 1 hour 30 minutes
